```Journey Van Andel Arena Concert reviews
Ok to see once; wouldn't go back
He sounded great live, though, so no complaints there. I got bored during it because he did a lot of guitar bridges where it was just the music and no singing. Maybe I'm not as impressed by those as I should be, but I prefer a singing concert, not just the music. He played a lot of his new songs which was okay, but I would have liked an equal mix of old/new.
Other people I talked to afterward said that same thing. Sat on side of the stage. Could see him well, but were behind big-screens & couldn't see them. That stunk because we never got a close-up. I wish they had the scoreboard screens on. Sound was ok. A lot of concerts have the music volume too high & the singing volume too low...that's how it was here, too. He seemed high because when he talked it didn't really make sense and was pretty out there.
